About me
Hi, hola, bonjour! For those of you who have not visited my website before, I will just introduce myself quickly ~ I'm Abbie, I'm 22 years old and I have recently completed my 4-year French and Spanish degree at King's College London. As well as my keen interest in travel, I also love learning, writing and speaking languages, and since last year I have been a French and Spanish tutor, through which I have taught over 450 lessons online.
I absolutely love teaching my favourite subjects online, regardless of what level it is at (whether it's KS3, GCSE, A-Level or even University). I was lucky enough to be able to spend a year of my degree living and studying in the South of France and Barcelona, and I think that everyone should have the opportunity to experience something like that ~ which is why it is so great to study a different language!
As well as teaching French and Spanish, I have also travelled to Poland and Hungary to teach English, and at the moment I am in the process of gaining my TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) qualification.
About my sessions
Regarding the lessons themselves, I first of all ask my students if there are any specific areas which they would like to work on, and then I plan the lessons based on this. Whether it's grammar, vocabulary or exam technique, I have a range of resources which help to target all of these different areas and thoroughly practice them. I also have plenty of experience with beginners, and love teaching the fundamental elements of what make up these languages.
Another important aspect of any language is speaking, and if that's what you would like to focus on the most, then any lesson can be based around this. It is important to practice speaking in order to really ground your knowledge and understanding of the language, and also to develop fluency.

How are the lessons conducted?
The lessons take place through Zoom; you will receive an email link to access the session once you have booked it through this website. You can head to the Book a Lesson page to choose a time which suits you, or alternatively you can block book lessons on the Packages page, which will save you money!
